I look up and see the sky has darkened and then another drop of water falls and lands on my forehead, and at that moment it starts to rain. I see from the corner of my eye, everybody look up and then look at each other. Alex looks straight at me and I look straight back. Do you still want to play? asks Alex unzipping her sweater that she is wearing and pulling it over her head. A yeah, I answer. The Girl Who Sees Everything 3The door closes behind me and I head down the stairs and when I hit the side walk I turn left down my street. I walk past a bunch of houses Ive seen a million times and at the end of the block I turn right. Here there are tons of trees with most of their leaves fallen off and on the ground or spinning around on the air when the wind comes around. I walk up to this really old tree which I and my friends like to hang out around. Every time one of use was sad or depressed we would take each other there to cheer each other up and all the time it worked. I take my hand and drag it down the bark to memorize the texture and pattern and then thThe Girl Who Sees Everything 3


The Girl Who Sees Everything 2 I get back to my room and grab the glass of juice on my dresser and gulp it down and then I grab the box of cereal and sit back down on my bed. I take a spoon full of cereal and when I put it in my mouth the milk is all warm and gross. I quickly spit it back out into the box and put the cereal back down. I glance at the clock again and this time it is 5:41. I remember that I still have a lot of packing to do this morning before I leave for Winnipeg, Manitoba. I get up and walk to the corner of my room with all the empty boxes and grab one and walk over to my dresser and start to packThe Girl Who Sees Everything 2


The Girl Who Sees EverythingEVERYTHING WAS RUSHING BY SO QUICKLY and there was a whooshing sound in my ears and everything around me was very cold. When I looked up from the ground there was a tiny little black wolf playing with the leaves that were floating in the wind on the ground. The wolfs fur looked as soft as silk and long and I just had this eager feeling to reach out to him and touch him to see if that is how it felt. I took a step towards the pup and the leaves beneath my feet crunched, and the pup looked up at me with these big black eyes the colour of coal and then went back to what he was doing.
